At Aussie Discount Fragrance, we want you to be thrilled with your purchase. Due to the personal and hygiene-sensitive nature of fragrances, we have strict guidelines in place regarding returns and refunds.
1. Change of Mind Returns (Brand New, Unopened Items Only)
We understand that you might change your mind. We will happily offer a refund or store credit for “change of mind” purchases on full-sized, retail bottles only, provided that:
- The request is made within 7 days of receiving your order.
- The item is strictly unopened, unused, and in its original pristine condition.
- The protective cellophane seal or any tamper-evident packaging remains completely intact.
Non-Returnable Items: Please note that for hygiene and quality control reasons, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or issue refunds under any circumstances for the following:
- Samplers and Sample Packs
- Decants
- Testers
- Any item where the packaging has been opened, the seal broken, or the fragrance sprayed/used.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs for valid change-of-mind returns.
2. Damaged in Transit or Faulty Items
We guarantee that your items will reach you safely. If your fragrance arrives damaged, leaking, or has a genuine manufacturing fault (e.g., a defective spray nozzle), you are fully covered under the Australian Consumer Law.
If this happens, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 3 days of delivery at support@aussiediscountfragrance.com.au.
- Provide your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damage/fault and the shipping box.
- Do not dispose of the item until we have resolved the issue with you.
Once assessed, we will provide a full refund or a replacement item at no additional cost to you.
3. How to Request a Return
- Step 1: Email our support team at support@aussiediscountfragrance.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
- Step 2: Wait for our team to approve your request and provide a return shipping address.
- Step 3: Pack the eligible, unopened item securely to avoid damage during transit. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for return packages lost in the mail.
- Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the item to ensure it meets our return criteria, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3 business days.
