The Scent
Guidance 46 opens with the familiar triad that made the original iconic — crisp pear, sacred frankincense, and toasted hazelnut — but everything hits harder. Rose water and bitter almond add a plush, almost gourmand texture, while pink pepper keeps the opening from tipping into dessert territory. It’s Guidance, but through a magnifying glass: every note is sharper, warmer, more present.
The heart is where the Extrait earns its name. A dense bouquet of rose absolute, osmanthus, saffron, and jasmine sambac blooms with a velvety opulence the EDP only hints at.
