Where to start
Triple Tea 三重茶 is the one that made the house famous outside China: green tea, roasted black tea and Wuyi oolong in one bottle, the silence between pours in a Beijing teahouse. If you own one To Summer, it is this.
Nude 裸 is the ultimate clean skin scent: cotton flower, water lily and a sheer fabric accord by Jérôme Epinette, like sun-dried towels after a shower. Also in a spring Open & Close limited edition and an alcohol-free extrait.
Osmanthus 颐和金桂 is autumn at the Summer Palace: golden osmanthus, ripe peach and bitter orange by David Huang. The most Chinese of all the flowers, done without syrup.

Why To Summer
Guān xià means “to watch summer”: to stop, look closely and let a moment stay. Founded in Beijing in 2018, the house works with Pu’er tea from Jingmai, osmanthus from Hubei and Chinese cedar, and was the first to distil Pu’er tea into a perfumery oil. The perfumes are composed with Jérôme Epinette and David Huang, so French structure meets a Chinese sense of memory. Expect soft, airy, skin-close scents rather than a room-filling trail. To Summer sells mostly through its own channels in China and popular editions sell out fast; here you get them without a WeChat account or a flight to Shanghai.
