This is Soulvent’s award-winner, and once you smell it you’ll understand why it took the 2025 Art & Olfaction Award. It opens with hawthorn — tangy, candied, the fruit behind the glazed tanghulu sticks of northern winters — rounded with pear and plum. Then it deepens into smoked Pu’er tea, aged tangerine peel (陈皮), and licorice, earthy and quietly medicinal in the best way.

Vetiver, guaiac wood, and patchouli ground it in something smoky and solid. Composed by perfumer Ciny Ye, this 50ml eau de parfum is the same scent formerly sold as Crimson Snow, recast for Soulvent’s Oriental collection — a piece of modern Chinese perfumery history.
