Ong Lai 旺来凤梨酥 is Taiwan’s pineapple cake, bottled: pineapple and apple over gardenia, jasmine and Alishan oolong. Warm, buttery, cheerful, and nothing like a Western fruit scent.
Endless Blue 一直游到海水变蓝 is the easy one: bergamot, sea salt and seaweed over cedar and musk, a sun-drenched marine from Pingtan Island at $79.

- Moment 瞬间系列 — 30 ml at $79, the everyday captured: Picnic Day (shiso and rose over green peach and oakmoss, a Yoyogi Park picnic), Pomelo (Shatian pomelo and lemon soda), Jade Lake, Siam Summer, Lalaland, Altay’s Snow, Autumn (myrrh, cashmere wood and whipped cream on a Wukang Road afternoon), Endless Blue.
- Oriental 在地系列 — 50 ml at $134, warm and nostalgic: Northern, Ong Lai, Taro Whispers (taro paste, rice milk and coconut in an old Fujian house) and Golden Rain (osmanthus and rose in a Suzhou courtyard).
- Travel Stories 巡游之眼系列 — 30 ml at $114, smoky and meditative, now discontinued by the house: Saint of the West (saffron, rose and oud by Siuchung Lam), Lake of Echoes (pine resin, frankincense and mushroom), Sacred Lake Meditation, Snowy Khata, Golden Mountain, Pilgrim’s Path and Sherpa Tobacco. Once our bottles are gone, they are gone.
Why Soulvent
所闻 means “what is heard, what is perceived”: the things you take in and never quite let go of. Every Soulvent scent starts as one real moment in one real place, then is built to match, which gives the house a distinctly Chinese vocabulary of smell: sugared hawthorn from a Beijing winter, Pu’er and aged tangerine peel, osmanthus falling in a Suzhou courtyard, incense at Lingyin Temple. The perfumers are an international cast, including Siuchung Lam, Ciny Ye and a nose from France’s Robertet. It is story-led, quietly made, and almost impossible to find outside China; we are one of the few places holding the full range anywhere.

Are Soulvent perfumes long-lasting?
The Oriental 50 ml line (Northern, Ong Lai, Taro Whispers, Golden Rain) and the Travel Stories incense scents last longest, a full day for most wearers. The Moment line is lighter and fresher, made for easy daytime wear.
Why are some Soulvent scents marked discontinued?
The house has retired the Travel Stories collection. We hold the remaining bottles in Sydney; when they sell out they will not be restocked.
