Inlé is Myanmar’s misty Inle Lake: bergamot and golden osmanthus over a cloud of tea, by Aliénor Massenet, $244. Winter Palace is China’s imperial palaces in smoky red tea, maté and amber, old-edition bottle, $244. Eau de Memo, the house’s airy green-tea leather, comes as a 10 ml for $54.

Why Memo
Founded in 2007 by Parisian poet Clara Molloy and her Irish husband John, Memo names every fragrance after a real place and builds it from a few striking materials that recall the landscape: leather, osmanthus, brewed tea, maté. The bottles are weighty glass in leather cases, made to be kept like a travel journal. Everything ships sealed from Sydney with Australia Post tracking, $8 Standard or $11 Express, within two business days.
Questions
Which Memo should I try first?
The Journey Book discovery kit: seven 1.5 ml samples for $49. If you already know you love tea and osmanthus, go straight to Inlé.
What does “old edition” or “no seal” mean?
Old edition is the previous bottle design with the same fragrance inside. “No seal” means the box’s cellophane is absent; the bottle is brand new and unused. Each listing states exactly what arrives.
Is it authentic?
Yes. Every bottle is sourced by us through authorised retail channels, kept sealed and checked before dispatch. We are an independent Australian retailer and are not affiliated with the brand.
