The Scent
Hundred Tea Movie (茶百戏) takes its name from a Song-dynasty tea art: whisk the tea to a foam, then paint flowers and mountains on it with nothing but water. It lasts a moment, then fades back into the cup.
You open on a glass of honey-rose tea. Dark red rose (墨红玫瑰) is deep and jammy, honey rounds it, a cool thread of mint lifts it, and a pinch of cinnamon warms the edges.
Then the teas arrive, and they are the point. Roasted, mineral Wuyi rock tea (武夷岩茶) and fruity Phoenix Dancong (凤凰单丛) give warmth. Green tea, Anji white tea (安吉白茶), jasmine tea and honeysuckle tea keep it fresh and lightly floral. Souchong black tea adds malty body, stem tea and bitter endive tea a rustic green edge, and Pu-erh (普洱) a quiet earthiness. It smells like a teahouse, not a tea shop: steam, leaf, warm cup, a little bitterness.
The drydown is calm and dry. Agarwood, hinoki wood (桧木), patchouli and vetiver settle in, softened by a faint lily-narcissus floral. Think of an empty valley after rain.

Who It’s For
You like tea more than dessert. This is Betmay’s dry, contemplative side, not its sweet milk-tea one, so if you came for the gourmands, try Tie Guan Yin first. Perfect for slow mornings, rainy afternoons, and anywhere you want to feel composed. Unisex.
Performance
Long-lasting on skin thanks to the woody base, but it sits close. The honey-mint opening is brief; the tea and woods stay for hours. Gentle enough for the office.
