Francis Kurkdjian created Tihota in 2006 as a love letter to Tahitian vanilla. The brief was almost absurdly simple: pure vanilla, nothing else, done perfectly. And somehow, against all odds, he pulled it off. This isn’t a complex fragrance. It doesn’t evolve dramatically. What you smell in the first 30 seconds — creamy vanilla bean, crystallised sugarcane, warm almond milk — is what you’ll smell hours later. The genius is in the quality of the materials and the restraint of the composition.
There’s a flour-like, cake-batter quality up top — like cracking vanilla pods into warm cream. The heart deepens into crème anglaise territory, rich and custardy, with a whisper of butter cookies. White musk keeps everything clean and skin-like rather than cloying. The drydown is a gentle fade into vanilla-musk warmth, so intimate it feels like a secret only you know.

Who It’s For
If vanilla is your comfort note, your signature, the thing you layer under everything else — Tihota is coming home. It’s the most luxurious, natural-smelling pure vanilla on the market. There’s nothing synthetic, nothing shrill, nothing cheap.

Performance
Longevity: 7–12+ hours, highly skin-dependent. The musk/amber base extends it far beyond what you’d expect from a light vanilla.
Projection: Intimate. ~2–3 inches at peak, becoming a true skin scent by hour 3–4. You’ll catch wafts when you move — nobody across the table will.
