Golden osmanthus drifting across a palace garden on an autumn breeze: there one moment, gone the next.
The Scent
It opens juicy and bright, with bitter-orange zest and ripe peach over a crisp green snap. Then golden osmanthus unfolds, its natural apricot-skin glow softened by rose, jasmine and a powdery hint of violet. It settles into warm amber and clean white musk close to your skin. It’s sweet but never sugary, like a gentle, sun-warmed memory.
The Collection
Its Chinese name, 颐和金桂, recalls golden osmanthus blooming at Beijing’s Summer Palace (颐和园) in autumn. Perfumer David Huang wanted to capture the flower the way you meet it on a tree-lined path: it reaches you from a distance and fades as you lean in. This is the scent that started To Summer 观夏’s Eastern botanicals. Eau de Parfum, launched 2021.

Who It’s For
It suits you if you love soft, luminous florals with a touch of fruit, and prefer quiet charm to a loud statement. Wear it on crisp autumn days, at the office or on slow weekends. If you’re after a dense, leathery osmanthus, know that ripe peach shares the spotlight here.
Performance
Light and intimate by design, it’s a skin scent that stays close and lasts a few hours rather than all day. A spritz on your scarf or a quick top-up keeps the glow going.
Authenticity
This is genuine To Summer 观夏, sourced by us, and this bottle comes brand new in its box.
