A misty English rose garden at first light, before the world wakes up. The newest addition to the Replica line (2025, perfumeur Juliette Karagueuzoglou), and it’s already turning heads — this is not your typical pretty rose.
The opening catches you off guard in the best way: bright pink pepper meets damp, earthy soil — cool morning air just above the ground. Then the rose blooms, but it’s jammy and dewy, not delicate or shy. Powdery orris and soft ambrette round out the heart before everything settles into a mossy, woody base of patchouli and cashmeran. It’s romantic, grounded, and more interesting than any rose soliflore has a right to be.
This one’s brand new — not even available in Australia yet through regular channels. The earthy soil accord might surprise you if you’re expecting a clean, sweet rose, but honestly? That’s what makes it special. Patchouli-averse noses should sample first. Performance wise, expect the Replica standard: 4-6 hours of intimate wear.
