The Scent
Beach Hut Man opens with a blast of mint so vivid it feels like crushed leaves between your fingers — cool, herbal, and bracingly green. Galbanum sharpens the edge, while orange blossom softens it just enough to keep things from going full forest-floor. This isn’t a beach scent in the coconut-and-sunscreen sense; it’s the vegetation behind the dunes, wild and untamed.
The heart weaves ivy, moss, and vetiver into a dense green tapestry that feels alive — damp earth, crushed stems, the smell of shade in high summer. Then the base arrives with dry woods, myrrh, and patchouli, grounding the whole composition in something woody, resinous, and unmistakably Amouage. The dry-down is where the house DNA finally shows itself: a warm, slightly smoky base that contrasts beautifully with the cool, green opening.
The Collection
Part of Amouage’s main collection, launched in 2017 and now discontinued. Perfumer Elise Benat created one of the house’s most surprising and beloved masculines — a fragrance that proved Amouage could do fresh without sacrificing complexity. Now out of production, Beach Hut Man has become a cult favourite among collectors who prize its unique green character.

Performance
8–10 hours on skin with moderate to strong projection for the first 3–4 hours. The green opening is assertive but the dry-down stays close, making it surprisingly office-safe after the first hour. The myrrh-patchouli base lingers longest.
